As the host of a public access cable TV show, Ossining News and Views, and the editor of a weekly email newsletter, Ossining This Week, Borgia works to keep Ossining informed about the many events and other happenings in the community.

Catherine Borgia and her husband Craig Johl moved to Ossining in 1991 and live here with their two children, who attend Ossining public schools. "We came to Ossining because of the scenic beauty and deep spirit of community involvement that we saw. We couldn’t imagine a better place to raise our children," she said.

Catherine Borgia was elected Ossining Town Supervisor in 2008.  Prior to this position she served for 4 years as Village Trustee and 7 years as Chief of Staff for Assemblywoman Sandy Galef.  She has 15 years’ experience in Marketing and Public Relations.  Borgia earned her BA from Binghamton University (SUNY) and an MBA from NYU-Stern School of Business.
