As a founding member of the Inter-Municipal Leadership team, Catherine has long
championed sharing of services with every level of government, in order
to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.

Ossining Town Supervisor, 2008 to 2009
As Town Supervisor, Catherine Borgia has worked to reduce the Ossining
Town budget while maintaining services.
- She established the Citizen Finance
Committee to create goals for making government more efficient.
- She initiated an energy audit and green initiatives to cut long run
costs of town operations.
Trustee, Village of Ossining, 2005 to 2008
As a village trustee and deputy mayor, Catherine has been a leader in planning
for Ossining’s bright future, with leadership roles in the soon-to-be-adopted
Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code, economic revitalization initiatives,
and communication and outreach to Ossining residents and community groups.
